General Settings

From the app admin page, click on “Settings”. You can configure settings for the Request a quote app in the “General settings” section.

The meaning of each setting option is as follows:

Show button on product list?

Select “Yes” to display RFQ button on product list page, and vice versa. You can take a look at our guide to show it up here.

Hide “Add to cart” button?

  • Select “No” to not hide the Add to cart button. By choosing this option, both the “Add to cart” and “Add to quote” buttons will be shown up.

Result:

  • Select “Yes, hide only when quote is enabled on product ” to hide the add to cart button for product with quote only. .

Result:

Hide “Buy now” button?

  • Choose “No” to not hide the product price.
  • Choose “Yes, hide only when quote is enabled on product” option If you want to hide the price for quote products only.

Add product cart to quote

  • Choose No to disable adding the product from the cart to quote.
  • Choose Yes to allow customer to add the product from the cart to quote.

  •  Select No to disable the change price feature on the quote page

 

  • Select Yes to let your customer change the product price to the price they wish on the quote page:

Note: the feature Allow customer edit quote item price only works if the price is shown on the quote page.

Show on Product details page?

  • Select “Yes, show only button” to only display RFQ button.
  • Select “Yes, show Request a quote form” to display both the RFQ button and RFQ form.
  • Select “No” to not display RFQ button and RFQ form.

 

Request for quote page

Select a page to display request quote information. This app provides 3 available options:
– Request for quote
– Quote history
– Share cart

 

Quote history page

Select a page to show up quote history information. This app provides 3 available options:
– Request for quote
– Quote history
– Share cart

 

Message type after add to quote

This app provides 4 available options:

-Popup

-Popup and form

-Redirect to quote page

-Toast

Quote start ID

Enter the number in the field to set the quote ID start from the number you want

 

 

Redirect after submitting

Enter a URL in this field. After submitting the form, the store will redirect to this URL.

Require login before add to quote

  • Select Yes to require customers log in before requesting a quote
  • Select No to disable this feature

 

 

Request for quote button appearance

Select the color of text and background, also enter the font size to design the button.

Here is the result, for example:

 

 

  • Select No to disable the feature. After the quote is submitted, no customer account is created at your Shopify backend.
  • Select Yes to enable the feature. After the quote is submitted, a customer account is automatically created at your Shopify backend.

 

 

Quote widget 

  • Tick on the checkbox Enable quote widget to show the quote widget on the front store
  • Enter the label of quote widget. For example: Quotes ({numOfItem})
  • Select Action after customers click on quote widget

– Go to  quote page

– Go to quote popup

  • Select position you want to place the quote widget on the front store

– Bottom right

– Half bottom right

– Half top right

– Bottom left

– Half bottom left

– Half top left

After that, check the result on the front store.

 

 

 

Google reCaptcha

Admin sets up Google reCaptcha site key and secret key in order to add Captcha to the RFQ form. Check this article for more information.

 

 

 

Zapier Webhook URL

The Globo Request a quote + Hide Price app can be integrated with Zapier. Please follow this guide for more detail.
